Members of SRCAF are actively involved in the M40 Chilterns Environmental Group which was formed to see what can be done about the terrible environmental impact of the M40, particularly in the Chilterns and South Oxfordshire.
They have the support of 15 Councils and Village Associations along the 32 km (20 mile) stretch of the M40 between Loudwater (Jn. 3) and Milton Common (Jn. 7) and can claim to represent the 25,000 people who live within 500 metres of the motorway and thus suffer from its effects both night and day.
