Radnage Gets New Playground and Revamped Teenage Area

A new playground for younger children and changes to the existing teenage area have been unveiled in Radnage.

Both of these facilities were on the list of things that the young people told us they wanted in the village. We listened and a team lead by two members of the Youth Action group organised the necessary fund raising activities and external sponsors to make it happen.

Now the village has facilities for its young people which second to none in the area.

The Youth Action Group is looking at provision of facilities and amenities for the young people of Stokenchurch and Radnage. Our interest covers all age groups from toddlers to teenagers and we want to hear the views and opinions of young people (and their parents) regarding:

Play areas and parks
Sports and recreational facilities
Youth clubs and facilities
Organised groups like Brownies, Scouts, etc.

Already the group has prompted the start of a new Youth Club in Radnage, modifications to the play area at Studley Green and the new playground and revising teenage areas at Radnage.

We need you help to continue this work, especially in Stokenchurch where a number of projects need active support of parents to get them off the ground.
